As a Fort Bend ISD parent or student, you use your Skyward credentials to access grades, assignments, records and much more. But what if you forget your Skyward password? Don’t worry – you can easily reset it!
When you forget your password for the Skyward FBISD portal, use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. This will initiate the password reset process.
You will first need to enter your Skyward username. This is usually formatted as your firstname.lastname (e.g. john.doe).
Once you submit your username, you will be given password reset options:
Request Reset Code by Email
Select this option if you want a temporary numeric reset code emailed to the address associated with your Skyward account. This code allows you to create a new password.
Check your email inbox for the 6-digit reset code from the Skyward FBISD system. Then return to Skyward and enter this code along with your new password.
Request Reset Code by Text/SMS
Choose this option if you want the reset code texted to your mobile number on file rather than emailed.
Enter the texted reset code into Skyward FBISD to change your password.
If you previously set up security questions on your Skyward account, you can reset your password by correctly answering those questions. Common questions may relate to your street you grew up on, name of childhood friend, or favorite teacher. Answer correctly to reset your password.
Call School Administrator
This option will display the phone number to call your school administrator directly for help resetting your Skyward password. They can verify your identity and manually reset your password.
Once you complete the reset process using one of the above options, your Skyward FBISD password will be changed. Be sure to enter a new secure password you won’t forget again!
Resetting your password via the “Forgot Password” link is quick and easy. Just be sure Skyward has your current email or mobile number on file so you can receive the temporary reset code.
